Charumathi is a lecturer in social psychology and an independent researcher. She holds an MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology from LSE. Her research interests include the interaction between social representations and identity formation, culture, and the self. She examines the subtlety of Brahmanical cultural supremacy in social structures and its influence on the lowered caste cultural being and self-esteem in her writings.
