Recurring Donations:
Making monthly or quarterly donations gives Polis a reliable source of income we can count on. Or make a one-time donation to support our work.
Employee Match
Employer matching gift programs allow you to team up and combine your employee benefits and donations to The Polis Project. If your employer matches gifts, your donation can be doubled or tripled to support nonprofit organizations like The Polis Project.
Donor Advised Funds
You can donate to the Polis Project through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF). Please let your DAF know to make a grant to the Polis Project, providing the necessary details, such as the donation amount and our EIN: 82-4072305.
IRA Transfer
Did you know that starting at age 70½ or above, you can make a qualified charitable distribution of up to $100,000 tax-free annually from your IRA?
Each year, an IRA owner age 70½ or over when the distribution is made can exclude from gross income up to $100,000 of these QCDs. For a married couple, if both spouses are age 70½ or over when the distributions are made and both have IRAs, each spouse can exclude up to $100,000 for a total of up to $200,000 per year.
Stock
Donating stocks to the Polis Project involves selecting us as your beneficiary and contacting us for instructions. Transfer the stocks from your brokerage account to the Polis Project, providing the necessary details to your brokerage. Notify us upon completion of the stock transfer, keep records for potential tax deductions, and consult with a tax advisor for personalized guidance.
Estate Planning
To leave a gift in your will, let your attorney or financial planner know: Please give them the following information
